I believe that it’s important to know whom you are working with on a personal level. I want you to know what drives me to be my best.
I was raised by a single mother from the age 1 to adulthood. She was a teacher and we spent most of our time driving to different sports that I participated in. When I was about 15 years of age, I narrowed my focus to one sport: swimming. My goal was to earn a scholarship so that I could pursue a college education. We did not have a lot of funding saved for college and I knew that if I worked hard enough, I could earn an education somewhere. I was able to win 5 state titles here in Colorado (5A) swimming for Longmont High School and was a 9-time All-American. I was also named “5A Swimmer of the Year” my senior year. I was pursued by over 30 Division-I schools and chose a full-ride scholarship offer to swim at Southern Methodist University (Dallas, Texas). I swam there all 4 years and was named a co-captain of the team my senior year. I was able to graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Finance from the Cox School of Business.
From there, I moved back to Colorado and obtained my real estate license. I co-owned a company with my mother for several years during the recession before shifting into my current role. In 2011 I started my career with a large corporate firm, where I grew my business and learned. Early in 2017, I transitioned to LPL Financial as an Independent Financial Advisor.
My goal is to leave my community in a better financial position than when I started. I put a lot of time into my personal growth and education, as I believe it benefits our clients. I was born in Boulder, grew up in Longmont, and currently reside in Broomfield. I live with my beautiful wife Mary, our 8-year-old son Reagan, and our dog Rory. We stay very busy with Reagan’s sports and spending as much time outside as we can. I also recently started swimming again with a Master’s team located here in Broomfield and have been enjoying some time back in the pool!

Cameron Dye CFP®
Cameron has been helping people plan for and execute their retirement goals since 2019. He believes that walking alongside a client and providing financial education, as well as behavioral direction is the most effective way to help them prioritize their financial goals and create a plan for how to try and achieve them.
Financial planning requires not only thinking about what you would like to do in the future with your time and money, but also how you are going to enjoy your remaining working years. Cameron takes an approach of looking at a family’s entire financial picture to help them craft a plan and keep them on track for their financial goals.
Before joining White Hawk, Cameron competed around the world as a professional triathlete for over 12 years. After completing his degree in finance while swimming at the University of Iowa, Cameron continued his athletic career in multisport. Over his racing career, he won 35 professional races, won a bronze medal at the 2013 ITU World Championships, and was named USAT Male Triathlete of the year in 2011 and 2012.
Cameron lives in Boulder, Colorado with his wife Natalie, and his two kids Liam and Lucia. His passions are spending time with his family, fly fishing, and golf. He’s also an avid Colorado sports fan and a life-long Iowa Hawkeye fan (and now Alumni).
